DRIVING DIRECTIONS: To reach the Wild Iris Climbers’ Main Parking Lot, drive southeast out of Lander on Main Street/Highway 287/28. Continue on Highway 28 for about 24 miles (near milepost 53), take a right on the dirt Limestone Mountain Road (Forest Service Road 327). Take this road for 1.3 miles to a fork. Take the right fork, switchback up the hill and the parking lot is on your left (0.8 miles past the fork). In order to accommodate vehicles for the Climbers’ Festival activities, we are asking all racers to park on Forest Service Road 327 past the climber parking lot. Drivers will be asked to drive all the way to the quarry to turn around and park facing downhill (West, looking towards the mountains). Carpooling is encouraged! There will be two porta-johns and one USFS bathroom for your use. Driving time is at least 30 minutes to drive from Lander to the Wild Iris Climbers’ Main Parking Lot. PLEASE NOTE that there will be a traffic delay on Forest Service Road 327 from the 1.3 mile fork (Limestone Mountain Road/Climbers Parking Lot intersection) to the parking lot from 7:30am-7:45am for runner safety.
